The Senior Director Marketing, Pain will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives for Meloxicam, including new product launches and lifecycle management, working collaboratively across functions and with external partners to drive brand growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic vision for Meloxicam, including new product launch planning and lifecycle management.
  • Work collaboratively to develop and execute the overall healthcare professional (HCP) and consumer marketing strategy for Meloxicam.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, physicians/KOLs, agency partners, and external vendors to create innovative lifecycle and launch tactics.
  • Manage agency partner selection and oversight.
  • Lead and manage a professional and consumer marketing team.
  • Prepare HCP and consumer brand and tactical plans, manage execution, and ensure delivery within budget and on time.
  • Develop strategy, messaging, and media plans for promotional campaigns.
  • Lead Marketing Insights efforts to measure impact, report results, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with field sales and market access teams on key initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Contribute as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT).
  • Supervise employees, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing employee issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including sales, professional, and consumer marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing lifecycle and launch plans for prescription pharmaceutical brands.
  • Experience with sales and marketing in the pain pharmaceutical space, especially in acute pain.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and advocate among healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with digital, multi-channel marketing, loyalty programs, and DTC campaigns.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines, compliance, and promotional policies.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and financial/budgeting acumen.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with non-personal promotion strategies such as PR, social media, digital channels, and Point-of-Care channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 12-15 years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing
