Key Responsibilities

  • Influence and oversee the long-term strategic roadmap for the marketing organization, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and growth targets.
  • Oversee the end-to-end annual strategy planning and budget process by partnering closely with Finance and Marketing Senior Leadership to develop annual and multi-year objectives that align with company-wide goals.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level narratives, deliverables and analyses to articulate strategic direction, business execution and performance.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Marketing Senior Leadership to inform decision making by providing data, research, and insights.
  • Own a robust internal reporting framework to provide regular updates on goals, metrics, and KPI performance to the Marketing executive team, including preparation of synthesized reports and insights on organizational performance.
  • Support the development of business cases and return on investment models with recommendations based on opportunity sizing, financial outcomes and investment.
  • Foster strong relationships with teams, internal partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives such as Finance, Human Resources, Communication, Legal, Sourcing, and External Consultants.
  • Own the organization's operating cadence ('rhythm of business'), and develop agendas and meeting materials for executive leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, All Hands/Town Halls, and other strategy discussions.
  • Support communications between the CMO and internal/external parties by working closely with the internal Communication team.
  • Work in the midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week.

Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in marketing strategy, business planning, consulting or business operations related role.
  • Experience manipulating data and working with analytics tools to turn insights into business recommendations to optimize strategy.
  • Sharp business judgment with a strong understanding of business economics and P&Ls.
  • Excellent writing skills, ability to storyboard and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure.
  • Experience contributing to business planning or consulting/strategic case development.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; proficiency in managing competing priorities and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, present, and craft compelling narratives to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience handling high-profile, high-pressure assignments with high growth potential, and the ability to respond quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Willingness to work in the midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week.
