About the Role

The Senior Director, Portfolio Marketing Business Partner is responsible for aligning marketing efforts with business unit priorities, customer needs, and portfolio strategy to deliver impactful, outcome-driven value propositions. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to position products and services effectively, leveraging market intelligence, and coordinating full portfolio lifecycle management to support sales and growth objectives within Ricoh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates strategies to position Ricoh's solutions effectively, aligning with business goals to drive awareness, growth, and consistent messaging.
  • Coordinates process inside of Marketing to generate portfolio GTM strategy jointly with BU stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the Go-To-Market team to set campaign vision, scope, objectives, and budget in line with overall portfolio strategy.
  • Gathers and analyzes market-specific data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and refine strategies.
  • Works with BU leadership to analyze business performance, generate insights, and refine marketing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Develops and maintains customer segmentation, competitive intelligence, and market analysis to guide messaging and go-to-market deliverables.
  • Defines and manages portfolio brand strategy, ensuring consistent branding across channels.
  • Creates portfolio-driven content that communicates Ricoh's value proposition effectively.
  • Executes personalized marketing strategies to enhance campaign execution and support demand generation.
  • Coordinates and manages timelines, budgets, and resources for marketing strategy implementation.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product development, and other teams to support business initiatives.
  • Determines and defines sales enablement and channel training needs, aligning offerings for a unified customer experience.
  • Develops market research programs to gain customer insights and identify untapped opportunities.
  • Communicates product competitive position and ensures effective product positioning and launch strategies.
  • Supports product pricing, positioning, and market research to ensure competitiveness.
  • Develops sales enablement tools and training materials.
  • Engages with partners, attends partner QBRs, and provides insights into product and partner roadmaps.
  • Reports on product performance and implements strategies for enhancement or mitigation as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on portfolio marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with sales alignment and lead management best practices.
  • Budget management experience preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and campaign execution.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive results through influence.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working within cross-functional teams.
