Product Marketing enables our teams to explain and demonstrate how Akamai stays ahead of our customers' needs at the edge of innovation. Our team engages analysts, sales and presales teams, partners, and customers. With value propositions across edge computing, cloud computing platforms, and more, there is a lot to tell! You will work with a vast product portfolio and top customers from different industries. Being the subject-matter expert on the cloud computing market, trends, and steering our teams to capitalize on our unique differentiation. Collaborating cross-functionally to support customers with our market-leading cloud products with unlimited opportunities for learning.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding the cloud computing market to build and maintain addressable market research to steer go-to-market strategies
Managing all aspects of the go-to-market strategy for our cloud computing, security, and delivery products
Engaging IT decision-makers while working closely with developer advocates to influence developers to build on Akamai
Partnering with Product Management and Sales Leaders to drive strategic insights and opportunities
Crafting clear and engaging storylines that articulate Akamai's differentiation and alignment to business imperatives
Coordinating content, messaging, and event strategies with the global marketing team to engage customers and prospects to achieve business targets
Using data and research to evaluate impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows measurable business results
Leading a diverse team to bring stories to life through narratives, digital content, data visualizations, and tools

Requirements

15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field
Successful track record as a Product Marketing leader managing all aspects of GTM
Experience working with cloud providers including IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
Versed in pragmatic marketing, enabling the customer journey, and how to measure and increase engagement
Experience leading messaging, content development, ideation, research, strategy, planning, with clear actionable plans
Ability to manage multiple projects, work individually, and collaborate across teams
Savvy in working cross-functionally and able to build content strategies and supporting assets

Nice to Have

Experience working with cloud providers including IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Product Management, Computer Science, or related field
15+ years of relevant experience
