Senior Email Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and execute email campaigns that drive engagement and nurture leads
• Write persuasive and on-brand email copy for various audience segments
• Manage, grow, segment, and cleanse email lists
• Set up and monitor campaigns in Mailchimp to existing audience
• Run small scale cold outreach email campaigns
• A/B test subject lines, creative, and send times to improve open and click-through rates
• Track performance metrics and report insights with recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with email regulations and best practices
• Stay current with email marketing trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in email marketing, B2B marketing is a plus
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Mastery of an email marketing platform, preferably Mailchimp
• Great familiarity with audience segmentation and list management
• Advanced knowledge of email performance metrics and optimization strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced small business environment
• Familiarity with basic HTML and email design best practices is a plus

• Experience in developing and optimizing successful email marketing campaigns
• Experience with developing nurture streams and cold email outreach processes
