About the Role

The Senior Engineer, Data Engineering builds scalable and reliable data integration solutions that are flexible, scalable, and elastic. The role involves developing low latency data integration solutions to provision data near real-time for multiple consumers, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Service developers to build efficient ETL and database code, and supporting strategic business goals through dynamic, data-driven solutions. The position focuses on designing, building, and launching efficient data infrastructure to meet business objectives, contributing to project success, and optimizing critical production applications to meet SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

Build scalable and reliable data integration solutions that are flexible, scalable, and elastic.
Develop low latency data integration solutions to provision data near real-time for multiple consumers.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Service developers to build optimal and efficient ETL and database code.
Produce dynamic, data-driven solutions to support strategic business goals.
Design, build, and launch efficient and reliable data infrastructure to meet business objectives.
Contribute to the successful completion of projects as defined by project success criteria, including business, capital expenditure, and budget requirements.
Act as an Application Support specialist for critical production applications and optimize batch flows to meet SLAs.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related field.
Six (6) years of experience in development, engineering, or related occupation.
Experience with ETL tools and Database Platform Oracle.
Proficiency in SQL tuning, tuning ETL solutions, and physical optimization of databases.
Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
Experience with BMC Control M scheduler for batch jobs orchestration.
Skills in PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related.
