Key Responsibilities

Work as a bridge between UX Design and Application implementation with heavy React/Redux/TDD functions without excessive supervision.
Collaborate with enterprise Front-End architects in developing web applications using object-oriented languages such as JavaScript, React/Redux, HTML, JSON, and CSS.
Build and consume micro service frontend applications to display and allow users to interact with their data.
Build and utilize micro service backend applications to retrieve and process complex datasets using Node.js.
Use AWS knowledge and skills to build CI/CD pipelines to automate code and infrastructure delivery processes.
Create algorithms to resolve complex problems.
Perform version control using GIT, including creating pull requests for review and reviewing fixes.
Implement mobile first and responsive design concepts.
Refactor complex features to improve their structure and maintainability.
Practice and apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Test frameworks to ensure code quality and application performance.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure maintainability, reusability, and scalability.
Liaise with Agile team members and stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop software architecture and support.
Oversee story grooming and relative estimation with the team.
Lead the team towards focusing on reuse, performance, standards, and delivery timelines.
Anchor technical discussions and lead developers towards successful solution implementation.
Write technical documentation for organizational reference and contribution.
Evaluate tools, technologies, and frameworks with team members as the project evolves.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience.
Two (2) years of experience as a Front End IT Developer or related occupation with front-end development using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS (for candidates with a master's degree).
Experience performing front-end development using ReactJS, Redux, and AngularJS.
Proficiency with Node.js, TDD and Unit Test frameworks, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Knowledge of design patterns and Swagger.io.
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
Familiarity with GIT, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work remotely anywhere in the U.S.

Nice to Have

Experience with microservice architecture.
Knowledge of additional front-end frameworks or tools.
Experience with Agile methodologies beyond basic interaction.

Qualifications

Master's degree in relevant fields plus 2 years of experience, or
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields plus 5 years of experience.
