About the Role

Equifax is seeking a creative, high-energy, and driven Senior Front End Software Engineer with hands-on development skills to work on a variety of meaningful projects. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using modern practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
Work across teams to integrate internal systems with Data Fabric, CSA Toolset, and other systems.
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve problems affecting network, service operations, and quality.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve Equifax solutions.
Collaborate on scalability issues related to data access and information processing.
Actively participate in Sprint planning, Retrospectives, and other team activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
5+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
5+ years experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
5+ years experience designing and developing microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes.
5+ years experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, understanding infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform.

Nice to Have

Self-starter that responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.
Experience designing and developing big data processing solutions using Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow.
UI development experience (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap).
Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA, Microservices.
Experience with source code management systems (SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, XP).
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with modern JDK (v1.7+), Automated Testing (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI).
