Senior Graphic Designer (12 Month Contract)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of presentation slides and social media assets on behalf of Zynga's Ad Monetization team
• Contribution to the growth and definition of the team's brand positioning
• Design layouts for rich media ad units - and additional mobile ad formats - that lead to engaging experiences for our users
• Communicate the merits of your work to a wide variety of team personnel, including account managers, brand partners, designers, and software developers
• Design assets geared towards meeting and achieving the goals of the creative briefs with minimal direction
• Represent the team independently in both internal and external creative reviews
• Follow brand/style guides for our brand partners as well as internal game and partner teams
• Work with the Creative Director to conceptualize and iterate on compositions for deployment across mobile platforms
• Stay attuned to shifting industry tactics and standards, helping to define the team's processes for maximum efficacy

Requirements

• 3-10 years of graphic design experience, specifically in brand identity and the creation of mobile ad units driving engaging experiences
• Link to an online portfolio, featuring creative work directly aligned with the responsibilities of this role
• Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Google Slides
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly independent; capable of composing a brief, asking relevant questions, then completing the work with minimal oversight
• Advanced knowledge of design principles such as color theory, typography, modular grid systems, and more
• Attentive to craft feedback and able to quickly iterate on compositions based on collaborative input
• Ability to complete tight deadlines
• Great teammate with a focus on the success of the collective versus individual
• At least 2 references speaking to professional competence
• Based in Eastern Time Zone (or Central/Pacific Time Zones with flexibility for Eastern-leaning hours)

Nice to Have

• Experience working on international brands and campaigns
• Knowledge of mobile ad industry standards and best practices
