About the Role

The Senior Head of Industry, Financial, Large Customer Sales at Google is responsible for transforming business challenges into innovative, high-value solutions within the digital advertising space. This role involves applying industry knowledge and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes, leading collaboration, continuous learning, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The position focuses on helping major brands and agencies navigate industry shifts, drive growth, and deliver measurable results by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across various platforms, including Search, YouTube, and Measurement. The role offers an opportunity to influence market strategies, collaborate with executives, and make a significant impact on global businesses and users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for and achieve growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders, develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to influence at the executive level, building credibility and trust.
  • Ability to influence a team across Google product areas (e.g., Search, YouTube, Cloud) to deliver integrated holistic client solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading strategic agreements that shift a client's business or market position, demonstrating measurable impact.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning solutions that can be leveraged to drive marketing effectiveness and business growth for advertisers.
  • Knowledge of the financial services sectors, with organizations and understanding specific nuances of their business models, competitive landscape, and digital transformation challenges.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $195,000-$275,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
