Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring all requirements include a current and future state process map to be shared and signed off with your sponsor.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the product roadmap, defining features, and release timelines based on business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and execution of product initiatives.
  • Help prioritize features and enhancements based on their impact on user experience, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and release notes, to communicate requirements and updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of product features to ensure they meet quality standards and user expectations.
  • Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance and success.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate on product features and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product management, seeking out learning opportunities to grow and develop in the role.
  • Provide support to customer-facing teams, including responding to customer inquiries, addressing product-related issues, and assisting with customer training and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with product management peers and other team members, sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively and present ideas clearly to influence diverse audiences and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and the overall success of the product team.
  • Understand industry trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations relevant to the company's operations.
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with the organization's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • Any relevant IT Certification (e.g., Trade Promotion Management, Trade Finance/Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales Analysis, IT Product Management).
  • 3+ years of relevant or practical experience, preferably in Trade Promotion Management, Trade Finance/Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales Analysis, or IT Product Management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Agile Product & Waterfall methodology.
  • Effective communication skills, able to present to senior leadership.
  • Strong decision-making skills based on value-based criteria.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Excellent organization skills for managing time, prioritizing tasks, and handling responsibilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with trade promotion management, trade finance, or revenue management systems.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • Preferred certifications in relevant IT or industry-specific areas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in related fields.
