About the Role

The Senior Manager, Analytics at FOX is responsible for building a state-of-the-art analytics platform to democratize data across the organization and enable data-informed decision-making. This role involves managing a team of data engineers and working within the Business and Data Platforms team to develop solutions that support FOX Business units. The position is based in York, United States, and is part of FOX's broader media and content production ecosystem, emphasizing innovation, operational excellence, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of data needs and identify new data opportunities to support insights for Fox Business units.
Manage a team of data engineers, providing vision, guidance, and ownership of deadlines to ensure team success.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and serve as a thought partner for business needs from a data and analytics perspective.
Own the intake process by collecting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical requirements, data catalog, business definitions, and development workflows.
Help build solutions through technical expertise, including data analysis, dashboard creation, and system development.
Deliver business value through effective reporting and advanced insights, driving excellence in business intelligence projects.
Drive efficiency by automating processes, simplifying data structures, and building data views to support higher team productivity.
Develop relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams to understand data initiatives and capabilities.

Requirements

Strong understanding of best practices in standardized reporting, data modeling, modern data infrastructure, and handling large structured and unstructured datasets.
Experience and knowledge in digital marketing, CRM tools, and subscription data.
Proficiency with Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Looker.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Leadership experience in building and managing teams.
Fundamental skills in data architecture and design.
Excellent SQL skills and strong data transformation capabilities.
Business-facing experience including building relationships with new business partners, project request intake, and presentations.
Educational background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Math, or Statistics.

Nice to Have

Experience in Tableau is a plus.
Familiarity with Lucidchart, Google Suite, Atlan, and Service Now.
