Senior Manager, Business Development, Data Ventures- Contract Renewal

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by developing and maintaining internal and external business relationships, understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits.
• Support engagement and dialogue with stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and realize value propositions and business objectives.
• Execute multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers, and measuring performance.
• Develop contingency plans, demonstrate adaptability, and support continuous learning within the team.
• Influence and drive the overall sales strategy by directing sales efforts, managing key accounts, negotiating, and overseeing procurement and outside purchases to meet specifications and contractual terms.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, assigning duties, establishing performance expectations, and conducting evaluations.
• Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of belonging.
• Evaluate ongoing effectiveness of plans, programs, and initiatives, and seek continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and community outreach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area.
• OR 5 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related business development or market development role.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships, influence sales strategies, and manage key accounts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
• Ability to evaluate performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
• Understanding of procurement, supply chain, and contractual management.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in sales, supervisory roles, and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development or related areas.
