About the Role

This role is for the Senior Manager of Commercial Marketing within Baxter's Connected Care Group. The position involves leading downstream marketing efforts for digital healthcare products, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive growth, develop marketing strategies, and support product launches. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and product management to ensure tools, materials, sales aides, competitive positioning, and value propositions align with customer needs and product offerings.
  • Translate business strategy and priorities into global and regional marketing strategies.
  • Analyze market size, growth, key drivers, and pricing for relevant markets, companies, and products.
  • Understand customer decision-making and purchasing processes.
  • Become an internal subject matter authority across the portfolio.
  • Gather and communicate customer insights and findings across the organization.
  • Clarify portfolio and product-specific value propositions and positioning relative to customer pain points and competitors.
  • Implement omnichannel marketing strategies and modernize media, content, and event approaches.
  • Develop marketing plans for outside developed markets and enable growth internationally.
  • Lead tactical execution including launch timelines, milestones, campaigns, sales tools, and customer education programs.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track campaign effectiveness and report to senior leadership.
  • Create and manage industry-facing content such as web content and social media.
  • Deliver promotional programs pre-launch, launch, and post-launch to increase product adoption.
  • Develop lead generation campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
  • Maintain expertise on competitors' connected care portfolios.
  • Support product launches, field sales, and other marketing activities.
  • Generate and analyze competitive intelligence to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to support high-value studies and claims in marketing materials.
  • Identify process gaps and streamline content creation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of prior marketing experience with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally.
  • Availability to work 3 days per week in the Raleigh (NC) office or other specified locations.

Nice to Have

  • Technical understanding of IT and connected care environments.
  • Robust knowledge of clinical processes and workflows.
  • Understanding of IP networking, enterprise IT/iOT solutions, cloud, and on-prem solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • MBA and/or graduate degree (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with successful campaign development and implementation.
