The role of Senior Manager, E-Commerce Product Management, involves supporting the launch of a new business within SCA focused on developing an engagement platform that spans personalization, payments, search, content discovery, acquisition technology, subscription management, developer experience, and account identity systems. The position offers a hybrid work environment with at least 2 days in person at the LA, San Mateo, or San Diego offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle by partnering with Business, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support teams to understand customer needs and translate them into compelling product offerings.
  • Work with engineering to develop best-in-class customer experience and collaborate with the Data Analytics team to define success metrics.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that balances customer needs, business goals, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and business teams to prioritize and execute initiatives effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships and collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders, including software engineers, designers, operations, marketing, business, and customer support teams.
  • Work closely with these teams to ensure successful product launches, resolve issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends, evaluate competitor offerings, and develop strategies to differentiate services.
  • Stay informed of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Advocate for the customer by ensuring product decisions and enhancements are driven by customer insights.
  • Continuously monitor customer satisfaction, conduct user testing, and gather feedback to improve product offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management within consumer and/or enterprise media and technology industries.
  • Proven track record of launching products from design to delivery in a large corporate environment with a start-up pace.
  • Experience delivering highly available, resilient, and responsive services, APIs, and experiences.
  • Ability to lead in a cross-functional environment across multiple time zones.
  • Strong systems thinking skills, capable of identifying issues, understanding linkages, and brainstorming innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate viewpoints, collaborate, and bridge gaps across teams.
