Senior Manager, Market Intelligence

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establish analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses of industry trends.
• Synthesize market data into business insights through external and internal research and data gathering.
• Maintain a segmented map of the market landscape for customers and relevant service providers.
• Develop clear articulation of future value proposition aspirations within target market segments, such as biopharma services.
• Leverage market, customer, and competitive insights, along with product portfolio perspectives, to define targeting strategies.
• Develop collaborative and productive working relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Contribute to the strength of CSBD's team culture and community.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience working in biopharma or biopharma services organizations in research or commercial functions such as portfolio strategy, R&D operations, brand marketing, market access, or commercial operations.
• Ability to evaluate industry trends, develop long-term implications, and recommend pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities.
• Understanding of McKesson's businesses and portfolios to inform implications.
• Ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and provide intellectual leadership in problem solving.
• Experience with financial modeling, financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and structuring problems or tasks with limited guidance.
• Ability to manage discrete work streams independently and deliver high-quality work products.
• Strong communication skills to develop rapport, present insights, and promote ideas persuasively.
• Knowledge of industry trends, economic drivers, and policy across healthcare.

Nice to Have

• MBA or other relevant master's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
