Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Capabilities to play a critical role in driving the future of marketing competency and capability across our +$22B North American business. Reporting to the Director, Creative Effectiveness & Capabilities, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and embedding key marketing capabilities across the North America Zone, aligning with our 10 Year Strategy, Brand Growth System and Global Marketing Competencies Framework. You will design and implement tools, processes, and learning programs - partnering closely with our Global Marketing, Capabilities, and Learning teams - to elevate marketing best practices, embed 360 marketing mindset and capabilities, and foster a culture of full-funnel marketing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Creative Effectiveness & Capabilities to align global marketing capability initiatives with North America priorities, and ensure programs are practical, relevant and actionable for NA marketers.
  • Serve as a connector between global teams (e.g. Global Marketing Excellence, Global Learning & Development) and North America Zone, to adapt tools, programs and frameworks for local needs.
  • Help lead the development of new capabilities that can serve as models for broader use when existing solutions don't meet North America Zone needs.
  • Lead the development of a phased capability roadmap for the North America Zone, grounded in team needs, business priorities, and strategic goals.
  • Recommend and sequence capability-building initiatives based on urgency, impact, and the availability of resources.
  • Ensure the roadmap reflects both near-term opportunities and long-term capability ambitions, and is continuously informed by feedback from marketing leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to deliver training programs, playbooks, and enablement tools that bring the capability roadmap to life.
  • Coordinate rollout efforts across teams - organizing workshops, onboarding experiences, and in-the-flow-of-work activations that build confidence and consistency.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing adoption of enterprise initiatives like ACE (Accelerating Creative Effectiveness), tailoring tools and training for NA teams.
  • Support the development of new resources when critical gaps are identified, ensuring solutions are practical and scalable.
  • Define and track success metrics for capability adoption and effectiveness in partnership with the Director and global teams.
  • Monitor engagement, usage, and feedback to guide refinements and enhancements over time.
  • Help ensure capability programs evolve with changing business needs and reflect both internal input and external best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing capabilities, tools, and training programs.
  • Ability to partner effectively with global teams and adapt solutions for local needs.
  • Strong project management skills to develop and execute capability roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training, workshops, and enablement resources.
  • Ability to define success metrics and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, full-funnel marketing, and brand growth principles.
  • Proficiency in managing change and fostering a culture of learning and development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a large consumer-packaged goods company or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with global marketing frameworks and local adaptation strategies.
  • Experience with enterprise initiatives like ACE (Accelerating Creative Effectiveness).

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in marketing capability development, training, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and develop roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Educational background in marketing, business, or related discipline preferred.

Benefits & Perks

  • Coverage for employees and their eligible dependents through healthcare, protection, and savings plans.
  • Wellbeing programs including events, resources, and learning opportunities for physical, social, emotional, and financial health.
  • Participation in a variety of benefits and wellbeing programs that may vary by role, country, region, and employment status.
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Salary range: $118,400 - $148,000, with compensation depending on experience and location.
