The Senior Manager, Marketing Insights role sits within the Marketing Strategy & Insights team in the Marketing organization, focusing on fueling insight-driven marketing strategies by delivering actionable customer, prospect, and B2B marketing intelligence. This role involves shaping GCS Go-To-Market approaches through insights consultation and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic thought leadership offering practical application of research insights into strategic decision making while navigating challenges with agility and a pragmatic approach.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships, working closely with Marketing, Product Owners, Amex Insights, and other enterprise teams.
  • Maintain transparency and alignment with leaders by proactively sharing insight progress, timelines, key updates, and future priorities.
  • Leading and collaborating with key Marketing and Insights partners to inform and shape marketing strategies, ensuring successful launch of new products and programs, such as Corporate Expense Management.
  • Cultivating competitive and market intelligence through close partnerships with internal colleagues and agency partners.
  • Empowering Marketers to address critical business questions and capitalize on emerging opportunities through expert guidance and insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing in financial services, with a working knowledge of the Middle Market business segment.
  • Proven track record of success driving B2B primary market research initiatives, including positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Demonstrated passion for data analysis and a commitment to continuous insights skills development.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
  • Established ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of balancing multiple high-priority initiatives flawlessly and efficiently.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to interpret customer data and craft compelling narratives, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Adept at navigating fast paced, changing environments and leading projects with resilience.
  • Strategic problem-solver who identifies and resolves complex issues, driving solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Positive, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a passion for high-performing environments.
