About the Role

Quest Software is seeking a proactive, strategic, and collaborative Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to help evolve and scale our marketing operations function. This role is designed for someone who can step in and own critical pieces of our marketing operations stack, while also bringing a fresh perspective to how we optimize processes, streamline workflows, and unlock the full potential of our marketing technology and reporting. This is a Remote United States role. As a key member of the marketing operations team, you will support and complement the work of senior leadership by increasing visibility, improving cross-functional alignment, and enhancing the systems that power our marketing engine - enabling the organization to target the right buyers, generate high quality leads and help move them down the funnel. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Demand Gen, ABM, Digital, and Content to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable systems and processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize core marketing systems by administering and enhancing platforms such as Eloqua, Demandbase, and Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration, clean data flows, and efficient campaign execution.
  • Enable visibility through reporting and analytics by developing and maintaining dashboards and performance reports that provide actionable insights into marketing effectiveness, campaign ROI, and funnel performance.
  • Support cross-functional alignment by partnering with Demand Gen, ABM, Digital, Content, Sales, Product, and IT to ensure marketing operations align with broader business objectives and campaign goals.
  • Improve and scale operational processes by designing and implementing scalable, repeatable processes for lead management, campaign execution, and reporting, and proactively identifying inefficiencies for process improvements.
  • Drive funnel management and optimization by monitoring key marketing signals such as lead volume, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity to identify bottlenecks and support pipeline generation.
  • Work with Sales Ops and Analytics to refine lead scoring, attribution models, and funnel metrics to support accurate measurement of marketing's impact on revenue.
  • Champion Martech strategy and innovation by evaluating and recommending new technologies or enhancements, and helping define and execute a roadmap for automation, personalization, and scalability.
  • Support campaign execution by providing hands-on support for marketing programs including events, webinars, and email automation, ensuring proper configuration, tracking, and optimization.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives such as data governance programs, campaign attribution frameworks, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Foster team collaboration and knowledge sharing by creating documentation, establishing best practices, and supporting training initiatives for broader team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field within B2B SaaS.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce, Eloqua, Demandbase, and related MarTech tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets to drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling marketing technology systems and processes.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience mentoring or managing team members.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of solving problems and optimizing operations in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a suitable field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
