About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Product Development: Beverages, you'll serve as an advocate for our customers and see the products you develop, from ideation to finished product review, come to life in stores and online. This role involves developing beverages products within your categories of responsibility, leveraging Walmart's scale and access to impact the business and the lives of millions of customers worldwide. You'll be guided by our deep-rooted culture with the support and tools you need to do your best work.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating to assist in setting the category strategy for beverages through deep customer understanding, market trends, and industry knowledge
Building relationships and using influencing and leadership skills to partner with suppliers, merchants, business partners, and other Private Brand team members
Influencing decisions with merchants about product aspects including replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing
Delivering on key business metrics by working with Sourcing to ensure quality products and achievement of business goals
Knowing your category by understanding your private brand customers and suppliers and thinking proactively about future business opportunities
Focusing on quality through continuous improvement and maintaining business systems and protocols

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area
OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area

Nice to Have

Application development experience with VBA and SQL programming languages
Experience with creative design software
Financial modeling skills
Leading and completing cross-functional projects
Experience in manufacturing, product development, or packaging
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Supervisory experience
Masters degrees in Arts, Business, or Science
Project Management Professional certification
Six Sigma certification

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field
4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area
OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area
