About the Role

The Senior Manager of Product Management for Search AI at ServiceNow is a highly impactful, business-critical role within the AI Innovation organization. The role involves leading the development of advanced enterprise search and conversational AI capabilities that enhance user experience and support the company's growth ambitions. The team focuses on redefining how enterprises harness AI to deliver meaningful outcomes, building foundational search, agentic AI, and intelligent workflows across the Now Platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Set the vision for Enterprise Search & AI by defining and driving the product strategy for search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and question-answering capabilities.
  • Own outcomes by shaping the product narrative, securing executive buy-in, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business and customer impact.
  • Guide engineering, ML research, UX research, and design teams with clear, actionable requirements to enable fast, high-quality delivery of advanced search capabilities.
  • Leverage customer pilots, user research, and market insights to create intuitive, contextual, and indispensable user experiences.
  • Partner with other product teams to embed search and GenAI capabilities throughout the platform, driving adoption and expanding impact.
  • Define and refine metrics that measure the performance, relevance, and business value of search and AI features.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 4+ Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and leading high-performing product teams, including mentoring junior leaders and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • 8+ years of experience in software product management with expertise in building search or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) products that drive measurable impact.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and modern search technologies such as Moveworks, Glean, Elasticsearch, and Coveo.
  • Ability to evaluate, integrate, and innovate on emerging capabilities like context awareness, data indexing, and relevance ranking.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable features at speed with a focus on outcomes.
  • Deep empathy for users and the ability to translate complex needs into customer-centric solutions.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to guide strategy and measure success.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills, including navigating ambiguity, uncovering root problems, and communicating trade-offs effectively.
