About the Role

Walmart Connect is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for its stakeholders through full funnel ad solutions that leverage Walmart's in-store and online data. The company aims to help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert them into shoppers by offering flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service options. The Senior Manager, Program Management, Analytics Lead will lead the Analytics Program Management team within Operational Analytics to enhance advertising operations capabilities and build dashboards that support business decision-making across various ad products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide vision, leadership and day-to-day management of the Analytics Program Management team.
  • Lead efforts on gathering requirements, identifying dimensions and metrics, and ensuring consistency in metric definitions to support decision making on inventory, pricing, sell-thru rates, and performance metrics.
  • Advance operational capabilities with reporting to guide pricing, packaging, inventory forecasts, campaign optimization, sales strategy, operational planning, and advertising yield.
  • Partner closely with leadership within Operations & Client Services, Sales Strategy and Enablement, Business Operations, Product, and Sales to ensure accurate instrumentation and tracking of metrics.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication.
  • Ensure consistency in metric definition through data dictionaries and socialization of dashboards.
  • Be accountable for the timely delivery of dashboards and reports.
  • Identify process and tracking gaps.
  • Own accountability for capturing all relevant metrics for Operations & Client Services, Yield, Revenue Operations, Client Services, and Media Insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional insights teams, including contributing to Weekly Business Reviews.
  • Own tracking and surfacing of OKRs and operational metrics.
  • Hold teams and leaders accountable for OKRs and KPIs.
  • Build productive relationships across the organization at all levels.
  • Establish team goals and work with direct reports to execute, measure progress, and share results.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performance team of Business Intelligence Program Managers.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.
  • Work with offshore analytics teams as needed and develop clear roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of prior working experience in a Business Intelligence or related function.
  • 2+ years of online advertising industry experience preferred with understanding of advertising KPIs.
  • 2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in these areas.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, lead, and mentor a high-performance team.
  • Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, STR, Fill rates, unique users, page views, visits, campaigns, optimizations, viewability, demo comps, etc.
  • Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to internal teams, also ability to express complex technical topics clearly & easily.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and often lack of clarity, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lead teams with empathy while creating a high-performance culture.
  • Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or related financial process.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Project Management Certification.
