About the Role

The Senior Principal Product Director, Go-To-Market (GTM) and CX Products at Palo Alto Networks is a strategic leadership role responsible for guiding the development and architecture of GTM and Customer Experience products. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, driving data-driven innovation, and shaping the future of cybersecurity solutions through AI and digital workflows. The position reports to the SVP of IT Applications and emphasizes a data-first, first principles approach to solving complex challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining and driving the strategic direction, vision, and priorities for AI applications and features for CX and GTM applications, including orchestrating a multi-year AI product roadmap with executive leadership, development teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Managing the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and ongoing enhancements by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Driving data-driven and first-principle thinking on process mapping to influence automation using AI and digital workflows, including hands-on experience with data segmentation for different routes to market.
  • Leading and executing transformations in Pre-Sales, Partner, and Support processes, including redesigning architecture and functional processes.
  • Leading cross-functional team meetings, aligning engineering, data science, UX, and GTM/CX business partners on IT application product priorities.
  • Partnering with stakeholders such as Strategy & Operations and the AI COE to define and drive strategic direction, vision, and priorities for applications.
  • Staying current with AI/ML and GenAI trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for integration into product development and experiences.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Lead-to-Quote and Support applications and data, including 5+ years with Big 4 consulting firms.
  • Statistician mindset to understand data patterns and transform them into actionable insights and process changes.
  • Experience in driving data-driven decisions within Growth/Sales organizations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong understanding of enterprise applications, GTM, and CX processes.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong curiosity in exploring and implementing AI use cases, including Generative AI, predictive modeling, or leveraging AI in software development.
  • Highly collaborative team player comfortable working in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic business acumen with the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent military experience.
  • Local presence in the SF Bay Area to be onsite.

  • Prior experience with Generative AI, predictive modeling, or leveraging AI in the software development lifecycle.
