Senior Product Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the product against customer needs and competition to identify key features and innovations.
• Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the assigned product area, developing essential product documentation including business case, business requirements, and use cases.
• Own product backlog and collaborate closely with the platform engineering team.
• Create Journey Maps that re-imagine/re-define healthcare problematic process areas.
• Communicate progress towards delivery and address technical challenges.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation, exploration, approval, development, implementation, measurement, and ongoing development.
• Develop results-oriented strategies to solve complex and open-ended business problems.
• Analyze business viability, technical feasibility, and user desirability with diverse external stakeholders.
• Coordinate architecture design discussions and decisions with key stakeholders.
• Manage customer engagements and requirements to ensure customer success.
• Lead business pursuits and product demonstrations.
• Work within an Agile Product Development Methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Work with distributed teams in India and the US.

Requirements

• Located within commuting distance of Tempe, AZ, Richardson, TX, or Hartford, CT, or willing to relocate; travel in the US may be required.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 8+ years of healthcare experience or product management experience, with expertise in payer functions such as Product, Member, Provider, Contracting, Claims, Quality, Risk Adjustment, HEDIS.
• Hands-on experience working with Payer/Provider/PBM organizations.
• Experience managing the full product lifecycle from ideation to ongoing development.
• Experience with industry-leading Enrollment, Claims, Billing, or EHR systems.
• Expertise in US Government Program Lines of Business such as Medicare, Medicaid, Duals, Marketplace.
• Knowledge of Plan Sponsor & Product, Enrollment & Billing, Provider Data Management, Provider Network Management, Claims, Encounters, Medicare, and Marketplace Risk Adjustment.
• Ability to develop strategies for complex business problems and analyze business viability, technical feasibility, and user desirability.
• Experience working with diverse teams and providing direction on backlog prioritization.
• Strong communication skills, including facilitating architecture design discussions.
• Ability to work with distributed teams in India and the US.
