About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager at AvidXchange, you embody the full-stack Product Management philosophy, leading strategic initiatives and applying systems thinking to craft a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Set long-term strategic objectives for product lines, ensuring alignment with market and business needs.
  • Lead product lifecycle ideation, planning, and execution, managing complex dependencies and aligning development with business strategy.
  • Develop a strategic vision based on deep customer and market insights to position products effectively.
  • Measure and optimize key metrics for user engagement and retention across products.
  • Align performance metrics with overarching business strategies, evaluating product performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • Lead and drive the development and end-to-end strategy for Decision Management System for payments that comes from different channels to enhance the payment routing efficiency for the next generation payments execution and management.
  • Oversee the Decision Management System's Road map and support its adoption across multiple other critical pay domain products/initiatives and related compliance frameworks, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing engineering feasibility with customer needs and business goals.
  • Drive decision-making on complex, end-to-end systems, including integration with third-party systems and business rules management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to develop and deliver strategies that optimize customer value and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 7 or more years in product management with a proven track record of leading product teams and driving product strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions and collaborating with Sales and Operations on go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex systems and integrations, balancing strategic vision with operational execution.
  • Strong understanding of rules engine and business process orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of PDLC & SDLC life cycles.
  • Ability to envision and drive new customer centric business cases using AI.
  • Expertise in building customer-centric platforms, business process workflow, and business process orchestration.
  • Knowledge of ACH, Virtual Cards, and other payment modalities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end life cycle management of payments in the financial industry.
  • Expertise in building scalable platforms in a heterogeneous product environment.
  • Experience with business rules management systems and decision frameworks.
  • Familiarity with secure, scalable service-oriented architecture (SOA) and modern cloud-native applications.
  • Ability to align product initiatives with compliance, legal, risk, fraud management, and operational efficiency goals in the payment's domain.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, user needs, and technology innovations.

  • Additional certifications in Product Management or leadership.
