Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and interpret business data using various techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product / portfolio opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter and roadmap.
  • Define product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to prioritize Features/Epics and break down work into actionable steps to facilitate product discovery, design, development and delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle and drive the product roadmap leveraging OKRs.
  • Create the product in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
  • Understand and care for the technical features, debt reduction and modernization of technical products, especially for technical products, with expertise in the required technology.
  • Lead an agile team for Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO), focusing on transforming the core platform.
  • Provide insight and assist with planning on conversion strategy.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand current state, collaborate for future state, and incorporate feedback.
  • Serve as the product expert, working effectively with technology, business lines, and other partners to evolve and optimize the platform.
  • Manage the team backlog, epics, user stories, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Lead backlog refinement to define acceptance criteria and create shared understanding.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners for dependencies and cross-team planning.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to understand and deliver the product vision and roadmap and communicate timelines.
  • Execute acceptance tests and coordinate with stakeholders for user acceptance testing.
  • Plan and perform readiness activities.

Requirements

  • Product Management experience.
  • Ability to understand both technical and non-technical processes, requirements, and design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of software products and ability to design, configure, and integrate technical features.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working, processes, tools, and techniques for risk assessment and control.

Nice to Have

  • Self-directed, with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive initiatives forward.
  • Experience with Collateralized Loan Obligations.
  • Expertise on product model system elements that impact performance and ability to plan and design solutions.
  • Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities and customer needs.
  • Strong customer centricity to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Knowledge of product PnL, product strategy, vision and planning, product discovery, development, and channel management.
  • Experience with adoption, customer experience research, insight and execution, go-to-market strategies, performance measurement, marketing, and analytics.
