About the Role

As a Senior Offering Manager/ Product Manager for Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS) and PRIM (Proactive Risk Identification and Mitigation), you will be a visionary and evangelist for data-based software products for the Fire industry, with a primary focus on leveraging internal and external data to build value added software services driving operational efficiency for our partners and impacting life safety. PRIM is a newly formed Break Through Initiative (BTI) inside Honeywell and this global leadership role is pivotal in Honeywell Fire's growth trajectory, overseeing the delivery of best-in-class software solutions for building owners, facility managers, system installers, central monitoring stations, AJHs, and fire departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a compelling and customer-centric product strategy and vision, aligning initiatives with broader business goals and Honeywell's behaviors.
  • Be the voice of the customer by defining user personas and customer journey maps to identify pain points.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities, defining vision, goals, and priorities.
  • Own the product roadmap, prioritize features based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical considerations, and communicate technical requirements to engineering teams.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of product features, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, pricing, delivery, and support, collaborating with engineering to drive revenue, orders, and margin goals.
  • Work with engineering, sales channels, and partners supporting bi-directional amplification systems, primarily hardware-focused but involving both software and hardware.
  • Partner with sales, engineering, and customer support teams to identify new product introduction opportunities, conduct product launches, and engage with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and technology vendors, to drive product knowledge, identify solutions, and ensure integrated roadmaps and GTM strategies.
  • Communicate program plans effectively to leadership and partner with Commercial and Sales leaders for customer visits, tradeshows, and events.
  • Develop and implement the product roadmap, execute strategy, manage customer relationships, and identify business opportunities to drive sales support.
  • Drive innovative product development initiatives leveraging industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with international teams to understand regional nuances and adapt product strategies accordingly.
  • Establish mechanisms for continuous customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Embrace agile methodologies for iterative development and work closely with development teams in sprints.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Provide mentorship to junior product managers and foster a culture of learning and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a portfolio of software products, projects, and investments.
  • Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in managing high-performing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality and accountability for end-to-end product delivery.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and a customer-centric approach to product development.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with developing and executing product roadmaps aligned with business goals.
  • Experience working in a global context and understanding diverse market needs.
  • Familiarity with SaaS product lifecycle, delivery methodologies, and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with agile methodologies including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including effective communication with executives and cross-functional teams.

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the Fire industry, products, technology, or fire/codes.
  • Savviness on emerging trends, technology, and competitive landscape.
