Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and interpret business data to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Activate the connection between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business strategy to identify and prioritize product opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter, and roadmap.
  • Define product outcomes and OKRs to prioritize features/epics and facilitate product discovery, design, development, and delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle and drive the product roadmap leveraging OKRs.
  • Create products in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology, and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
  • Understand and care for technical features, debt reduction, and modernization of technical products.
  • Own end-to-end product development for assigned experiences or capabilities, from ideation through launch and optimization.
  • Write user stories, define requirements, and partner with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams.
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value, customer needs, and strategic alignment.
  • Support the overall product roadmap and define MVPs, iterative releases, and success measures.
  • Incorporate user research, competitive analysis, and performance data into product decisions.
  • Partner with UX and Marketing teams to test, validate, and refine experiences.
  • Collaborate with partners across Digital, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
  • Track product KPIs including adoption, engagement, NPS, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance experiences, drive growth, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet regulatory and compliance standards, working with Legal and Risk teams.

Requirements

  • Product management experience.
  • Proficient product management or similar experience driving the creation of new digital capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements.
  • Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities and customer needs.
  • Strong customer centricity.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of software products.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working, processes, tools, and techniques for risk management.
  • Experience creating digital roadmaps.
  • Strong background in financial services, specifically in credit cards or payment solutions.
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
