About the Role

The Growth & Discovery Product team at Wayfair is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead and build out their SEO product suite. SEO (along with Gen AI Search) is a key investment area for Wayfair, and the team is part of the Growth and Advertising group that reaches over 500 million consumers. The role involves creating relevant search experiences across diverse customer intents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving strategic product development in a hybrid work environment based in Boston.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the product vision for the SEO team, including strategic goal setting, experimentation, and scaling, in partnership with SEO Managers, Engineering, and Science leaders.
  • Identify product suite capabilities that will provide a competitive advantage in the SEO and Gen AI search space.
  • Use agile processes and leverage a dedicated engineering and ML team to translate the product vision into well-sequenced, de-risked roadmaps and manage execution.
  • Influence partner teams across Storefront and Merchandizing to drive success.
  • Define product requirements and ensure timely and smooth cross-functional execution.
  • Develop and monitor OKRs for key product initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product management within an Agile environment, with exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • 3+ years of experience building products in the SEO space or owning storefront/website pages (product detail, search, or browse) for a large eCommerce platform with SEO exposure.
  • Sufficient technical literacy to understand product underpinnings and communicate effectively with engineers and data scientists.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning skills with the ability to analyze data and KPIs proactively.
  • Experience leveraging GenAI tools in product management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
