About the Role

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team collaborates closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that improve access to information. We are responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions to users. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, owning and advocating for design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure that ensure safe, coherent experiences and drive innovation across Google.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product goals, strategy, and roadmap for a new internal user research insights platform.
Execute the migration of legacy user research tools into the new user research insights platform, defining a seamless transition strategy for thousands of users and executing a deprecation plan.
Partner with engineering and User Experience (UX) teams to integrate AI/ML, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based systems, to deliver innovative user experiences for insight discovery and synthesis.
Hone a compelling product narrative that articulates the business impact and user value of the new user research platform to stakeholders and leadership.
Own the key success metrics to measure product health and foster a culture of data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Experience in Product and Strategy Development.
Experience in Stakeholder Management.

Qualifications

Formal educational background as indicated by a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

US base salary range of $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
