About the Role

Within the Consumer & Customer Experience Platform at Bayer, the Senior Product Manager for Website Factory is responsible for managing and leading multiple strategic products that are core to the business of Consumer Health. The role involves setting the strategic vision for products such as the website factory platform and Customer Contact Center, managing product backlogs, and ensuring the delivery of accessible and personalized digital solutions that place the consumer at the center of everything we do. The position is based in Whippany, NJ, and aims to transform consumer health through innovative, scalable digital solutions, emphasizing user experience, accessibility, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that products are designed with accessibility and personalization in mind.
  • Develop strategies to implement personalized user experiences that cater to individual needs and preferences.
  • Optimize capabilities to achieve business outcomes efficiently, utilizing strong strategic planning, decision-making, and influencing skills to balance user and stakeholder needs.
  • Create comprehensive product roadmaps based on user needs and non-functional requirements.
  • Track and report on progress against 90-day outcomes and manage product delivery while streamlining the backlog.
  • Apply Design Thinking methodology to prioritize problems and conduct usability, feasibility, business fit, and value testing.
  • Drive agile best practices with the team to improve delivery, including continuous planning ahead of each development cycle.
  • Establish continuous feedback loops with users to refine personalization features and ensure they meet evolving user needs.
  • Proactively communicate and educate team members and stakeholders on the importance of accessibility and personalization in product design.
  • Collaborate across all platforms driving technology simplification as well as composability, reusability, and scalability towards the target IMPACT architecture.

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field, OR a minimum of 4 years equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Product Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • AI related certifications such as 'AI Product Manager Nanodegree - Udacity' or 'AI for Product Managers - Product School.'
  • 5 or more years of experience as a product manager with at least 2 years of experience with Agile development and DevOps.
  • Experience within a top consumer goods company or a large consumer goods startup focusing on user experience through technology.
  • Ability to focus on user experience and product usability, ensuring solutions are intuitive, accessible, and meet customer needs.
  • Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and testing tools.
  • Experience with Design Thinking methodology and UI development, specifically Lightning Component Framework and Aura.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma and Visio.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to continuously learn and apply new advancements in technology and (Gen) AI.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools such as Figma and Visio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field, OR at least 4 years of practical experience.

  • Salary between $99,839 and $149,759.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus or commission.
