Job Description

About the Role

Qualys is seeking a product marketing manager for their lead product line Cloud Security. The role involves full GTM ownership of the TotalCloud product line, including developing messaging, positioning, and sales enablement to support revenue growth, market activation, and competitive positioning. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with market needs and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the ‘GTM Owner' of the TotalCloud product line and develop strategies to grow revenue, win customers, and activate the market including new monetization avenues.
  • Conduct regular business analysis of the product's revenue metrics such as cross-sell, up-sell, expansion, and renewal, and develop business plans to improve these metrics.
  • Develop campaign ideas for pipeline and lead generation, and execute plans to convert leads into closed sales.
  • Create thought leadership content including white papers, webinars, emails, and presentations.
  • Research the competitive landscape, develop optimized positioning strategies, and support sales with competitive intelligence and education.
  • Evaluate pricing and packaging options, including freemium, premium, and bundling with other products to drive adoption and revenue.
  • Activate sales plays and pipelines through innovative digital marketing and demand generation campaigns, focusing on product-led growth and sales motions.
  • Design, deliver, and train the sales team on value-based product demonstrations.
  • Develop sales enablement collateral such as presentations and demo scripts.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to gather feedback, understand pain points, and translate insights into product requirements in collaboration with the product management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, or engineering; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, especially with security products and solutions.
  • Proven experience in launching security products and understanding of the security industry.
  • Experience in developing external-facing and enablement collateral.
  • Proven track record of creating use case demos.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in sales and marketing, including creating technical documentation and speaking engagements.
  • Ability to test hypotheses, make data-driven decisions, and promote the product through innovative ideas.
  • Ability to articulate and showcase technology for different use cases and audiences, including within the federal space.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of Cloud Security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, or engineering.
  • MBA or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly in security.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annual salary guidelines of $145,000 - $175,000.
