Senior Product Owner

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, maintain, and evolve the QA product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business priorities.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business representatives to address and resolve issues that arise during product development and testing.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as Research and Development, User Experience (UX), to align product strategies, gather insights, plan releases, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation across the QA team and cross-functional partners.
• Identify and address product-related issues through informed decision-making and trade-off analysis, while ensuring QA activities remain aligned with deliverable commitments and compliant with security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Prioritize short-term feature backlog and releases, as well as the long-term product roadmap for products, ensuring clear communication of requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables to development and QA teams.
• Conduct customer research, product discovery and synthesize market factors into a cohesive product strategy.
• Collaborate with customers to understand challenges & opportunities, driving conversations to better understand their needs and serve as a customer advocate.
• Collect quantitative data to evaluate the viability of product initiatives and provide leadership with progress updates, risk assessments, and actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Write epics and stories to support completion of initiatives; ensure stories clearly communicate customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product; promote Agile approaches to product development across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Product Owner certification preferred.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams through digital innovation.
• Experience with Testing Automation and the QA Engineering discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology and backlog management.
• Strong communication skills, including expressing ideas clearly and fostering constructive dialogue.
• Business acumen and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of industry product knowledge, product development, product lifecycle management (PLM), and user experience (UX).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Testing Automation.
• Product Owner certification.
