Senior Product Owner

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Builds customer and internal-facing products with superior user experience across multiple verticals, accountable for an established or moderate complexity product.
• Ensures alignment between teams to prioritize product roadmaps, plan releases, and align them with business objectives.
• Collaborates with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business representatives to address and resolve issues during product development.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, UX, and business and operations teams, to align product strategies, gather insights, and plan releases.
• Identifies product-related issues, makes decisions, and continuously performs trade-off analyses to keep development on track toward deliverables.
• Prioritizes short-term feature backlog and releases, as well as the long-term product roadmap.
• Conducts customer research, product discovery, and synthesizes market factors into a cohesive product strategy.
• Collaborates with customers to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Collects quantitative data and uses a data-driven approach to evaluate the viability of product initiatives.
• Writes epics and stories to support initiatives, ensuring stories clearly communicate customer and stakeholder needs to meet business objectives, and promotes Agile approaches across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant product owner experience.
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams through digital innovation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and backlog management.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with product development, lifecycle management, and user experience (UX).

Nice to Have

• Product Owner certification.
• Past experience with safety and computer vision solutions.
• Knowledge of Midstream industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
