Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the project lifecycle using various methodologies to ensure successful engagement delivery by setting and communicating clear release objectives and milestones
• Work closely with stakeholders to build, manage, and prioritize the project backlog, achieving consensus on the impact of changes to team priorities, scope, and schedules
• Oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications, ensuring clarity and timeliness
• Monitor, review, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues promptly, continuously seeking ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness
• Ensure project artifacts are complete, current, and appropriately catalogued
• Lead and motivate cross-functional team members, building strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, executives, and other involved parties

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise-level projects using Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies in a client-facing role
• Previous consulting experience in a customer-facing role with strong business acumen
• Experience managing enterprise projects related to Microsoft practice areas such as Azure, infrastructure, data, or application development
• Proven track record of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth in project and engagement management, including leading teams of 5-12+ members with budgets over $500,000
• Experience managing projects and relationships remotely within distributed teams and in a consulting environment
• Experience conducting and leading stakeholder meetings/workshops, managing expectations, and driving external timelines
• Strong customer service mindset and a commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively in a team, facilitate productive interactions, and foster a positive work environment
• Competency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet; familiarity with JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Holding Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification

Nice to Have

• Experience managing Microsoft cloud technology projects and migrations
• Holding certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Prosci Change Management
• Experience leading teams of 20+ members
