Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members, ensuring clear understanding of roles and expectations
  • Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective contingency plans when necessary
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting and control of project expenses
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project objectives
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing accurate and timely status updates, as well as resolving conflicts or obstacles
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, as well as conduct project evaluations and facilitate sessions to enhance project management practices and improve future projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager or equivalent position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and successful delivery of projects
  • Experience in driving medium to large size projects within an organization
  • Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, working with stakeholders at various levels, and building strong relationships

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field
  • Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certification(s)
  • Financial industry and/or manufacturing experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred) or on track to achieve certification
