About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager! A Senior Project Manager at Emerson is responsible for leading and managing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and ensuring that project goals align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines.
  • Lead project teams to implement plans and achieve project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project needs are met.
  • Coordinate with different departments to secure necessary resources and support.
  • Serve as the point of contact for project partners.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to partners in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep partners informed and engaged.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience, or 10+ years of Project Management experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability in Project Management concepts including scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite customer meetings.
  • 2+ years of Flow Controls - Fisher Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Power Industry experience preferred.

  • Educational background as specified in the requirements (Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience).
