About the Role

The Senior Project Manager - ETS at Manhattan Associates is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects related to enterprise technology services, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholder communication, and overseeing quality control to support the company's supply chain solutions and infrastructure. The position offers experience in automation, cloud architecture, and enterprise support within a dynamic, innovative environment dedicated to transforming commerce and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively and continuously communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Conduct project post mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend budget changes where necessary.
  • Negotiate with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel.
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make recruitments if necessary.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors.
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical or business field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing ERP projects and/or MS Office projects, with Salesforce and Workday PM experience being a plus.
  • 7+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including process development and execution.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Effective prioritization and task execution skills in high-pressure environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday project management.
  • Customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
