This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 hybrid role based in the U.S. and Canada, requiring work authorization for the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Direct development teams and drive the execution of the project schedule, scope, and budget throughout the project life-cycle.
Lead the communication plan facilitating project sponsor meetings, team meetings, and status reports, including providing project presentations to executive leadership and reviewing project deliverables.
Foster high reliability by initiating process improvement opportunities based on past project experiences and leading the business sponsor, stakeholders, and project team to identify lessons learned and champion improvement opportunities.
Execute Project Management and SDLC disciplines, including understanding and focusing on the business case, creating project estimates, planning projects with resource integration, monitoring and communicating progress, tracking and managing the budget, managing issues and risks, controlling change, and ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

7+ years of strong project management experience organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
5+ years of managing Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing projects of varying sizes.
Advanced understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, detailed work planning, resource allocation, and team meetings.
Experience in a data-driven environment and understanding of ETL processes.
Comfortable working with MS SQL Server or other large database platforms and querying with SQL.
Strong vendor negotiation and partnering skills, including experience with outsourcing and offshore development.
Demonstrated effective relationship management and ability to influence decision makers.
Experience working in a cloud environment, specifically Azure, is a plus.
