Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Sales Professionals focused on delivering predictable and profitable sales attainment for the SMB market.
  • Execute the sales plan, assign clients, territories, and sales targets to sales staff, and ensure sales goals are met.
  • Plan and direct sales activities across the US to fulfill staffing requirements.
  • Manage and proactively help drive the creation of sales pipeline.
  • Define and execute sales strategies and tactics to increase new merchant sales and add-on revenue.
  • Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor sales staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners to ensure high lead flow and positive partnership experiences.
  • Administer compensation and assess sales performance, executing action plans to improve performance.
  • Manage all phases of the sales lifecycle, including lead generation, nurturing opportunities, closing business, and activating new merchants.
  • Provide guidance and eliminate obstacles in high-value opportunities.
  • Produce key management reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and sales productivity.
  • Ensure proper usage and data accuracy in salesforce.com.
  • Provide thought leadership on key market and industry insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience.
  • Experience selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market.
  • Experience managing a successful sales team selling directly to SMB merchants.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Demonstrated success leading field sales organizations of at least 50 sales professionals.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ across the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Master's Degree a plus.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $82,700.00 - $175,900.00, depending on location and experience.
  • Commission eligibility with potential earnings pursuant to the Fiserv Sales Compensation Plan.
