About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams by creating optimal environments for development and collaboration.
• Facilitates team and cross-team events to proactively identify stakeholder opportunities and maintain open lines of communication.
• Proactively coaches and advises Product Owners and people leaders on team configuration and dynamics for optimal delivery.
• Monitors project or iteration planning, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, and developing detailed timelines.
• Identifies obstacles and impediments or enables the team to remove impediments, seeking innovative ways to improve planning outcomes.
• Implements team processes, automation, and best practices that improve adherence to governance, controls, and Agile delivery standards.
• Identifies critical stakeholders and finds opportunities for their engagement in team events.
• Coaches Product Owners and teams toward advanced Story and Feature development, including behavior-driven development, story mapping, and automation.
• Drives Agile methodology adoption, including iteration planning, refinements, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Adopts and promotes Agile mindsets and practices, developing organizational education on Agile best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Scaled Agile Scrum Master certification and experience.
• Strong communication skills, including facilitating discussions and driving consensus.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to coach and mentor teams and Product Owners in Agile practices.
• Experience with project planning, impediment removal, and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have

• PMP Certification and Waterfall experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Scaled Agile Scrum Master certification.
