About the Role

The Senior Snowflake Engineer will lead the development and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions to support portfolio analytics, client reporting, compliance, and investment research for our Private Wealth Management client. The role requires hands-on experience with data modeling, ELT/ETL design, performance tuning, and integration with financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions.
Support portfolio analytics, client reporting, compliance, and investment research.
Design and implement data models, ELT/ETL processes, and performance tuning.
Integrate Snowflake solutions with financial systems.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Snowflake development.
Proven experience working with data in a Private Wealth, Asset Management environment.
Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize complex queries and data pipelines.
Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, role-based security, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).

Nice to Have

Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).
Understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
