About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will make an impact by conducting requirements using strong technical expertise in C Linux and C++ along with domain experience in Payer. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare team and work collaboratively with managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Interact with product owners and business owners to understand the business need from an end-user perspective.
Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs as a very first step in the project inception.
Providing Architectural Solution, developing code based on established best practice methods of Cognizant coding standard, convention, practices, and processes following a defined IT strategy approach to the creation of the customized software solutions requiring the application of advanced and complex IT theories and methods.
Guide the team for interface changes with third party applications, including identifying new WSDLs development that satisfy external web service contracts.

Requirements

Demonstrate strong proficiency in C Linux and C++ with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the Payer domain with experience in developing solutions tailored to this sector.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Show a strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and best practices.
Have experience working in a hybrid work model with the ability to manage tasks both remotely and on-site.
Display effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of C, C++, Java, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Multithreading, GIT, SVN, Azure Devops, Jenkins, Eclipse, Centura, Tuxedo, Python, Pro*C, Google Test/Mock, MongoDB, UNIX Scripting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
