About the Role

Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a focus on solving complex customer problems, supporting sales cycles, delivering demos, and collaborating with teams to improve products and marketing. The role involves engaging with both technical and executive audiences to demonstrate Snowflake's technology and value.

Key Responsibilities

Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos to POCs to design and implementation.
Immerse yourself in the industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing.

Requirements

7-8 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 within a pre-sales environment in the data space.
Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python.
Experience with large-scale Database and Data Platform technologies, and cloud technologies.
Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, using whiteboards, presentations, and demos.
Ability to connect a customer's specific business problems and Snowflake's solutions.
University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience in data science is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Italian.
