About the Role

The Engineered Pipe Consultant at Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is a technical field specialist responsible for driving technical sales, marketing, and promotion of Contech's pipe product line. The role involves obtaining and maintaining product approvals from regional and local regulatory agencies, growing and tracking project pipelines with targeted accounts, and supporting land development projects while protecting the environment. Key Responsibilities

Conduct technical presentations, perform analysis, develop specifications, and build project pipelines through Contech's system.
Continuously improve technical expertise and knowledge of Contech pipe products, competitive products, and civil infrastructure trends.
Collaborate with regional and local agencies to gain approval of Contech pipe products, including development of tailored sizing and design methodologies and preparation of formal submittals.
Manage project pipelines using CRM to measure project-specific performance, ensuring information is timely, accurate, and complete.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with accounts, attend local engineering association functions and trade shows, and leverage internal support to deliver solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field or equivalent education and experience.
P.E. Certification strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling or specifying technical products.
Proficiency in consultative marketing and understanding designer needs to provide solutions.
Effective communication skills for technical information, concepts, and applications.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
Valid Driver's License required.
Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Nice to Have

P.E. Certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
P.E. Certification (strongly preferred).
3-5 years of experience in technical product sales or specification.
