About the Role

Senior Solutions Consultants at Salesloft are pivotal to the company's success, serving as key members of the Global Pre-Sales team. They act as the voice of the Consulting Services organization to customers during the pre-sales process, ensuring consulting teams are set up for success on client engagements. The role involves meeting with customers, earning client trust, collaborating with the consulting organization, and designing custom solutions to help customers achieve success. The position is remote, with opportunities to understand prospects deeply, advise on solutions, and drive growth and expansion within accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales teams on priority pursuits.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to understand objectives, challenges, and desired future states.
  • Lead customer business discovery sessions to uncover pain points, establish goals, and define business requirements.
  • Lead customer technical discovery sessions to identify technical requirements and considerations for implementation.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the client's business challenges, technology stack, and rollout goals.
  • Translate customer requirements into Consulting Services offerings and custom engagements.
  • Design custom implementation and onboarding plans to ensure customer success.
  • Identify and document project risks.
  • Build custom proposal decks and present services proposals and project plans to customers.
  • Compose and approve customer-facing statements of work.
  • Pitch the value of the services organization to clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in knowledge transfer and transition of closed business to delivery teams.
  • Participate in client engagements as a senior advisor and trusted voice.
  • Participate in client strategy sessions and QBRs to drive growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships and problem-solving efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Senior Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or Solution Architect role, including commercial and/or enterprise services projects.
  • Ability to design and develop solution roadmaps and implementation plans based on current and future business states.
  • Ability to develop executive relationships with C-Suite, VP, and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Salesloft platform, use cases, and benefits.
  • Expertise in Sales and Revenue Operations technology ecosystems (CRM, Sales Engagement, Marketing Automation, ABM, etc.).
  • Experience managing customers post-sale in a consulting capacity for 3-5 years.
  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and document management skills.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Openness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Ability to articulate solutions that help customers realize business benefits.

  • Prior sales experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience managing customers post-sale in a consulting role.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesloft platform and common use cases.
  • Expertise in Sales and Revenue Operations ecosystems.
