About the Role

Senior Specialist, Email Marketing & Automation at Fiskars Group's Waterford brand, part of the VITA luxury division which includes Waterford, Royal Copenhagen, Georg Jensen, Wedgwood, Iittala, and Royal Doulton. The role involves shaping direct communication with customers through email and expanding into other channels, focusing on delivering timely, relevant messages to build stronger relationships and support business growth. The position is hybrid, based in the U.S. with occasional travel to Europe, and sits at the intersection of content, commerce, and customer experience, emphasizing strategic automation, insight-driven content, and continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process for email campaigns, from initial briefing through build, QA, and send, while helping shape channel growth.
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns across multiple brands within the market.
  • Own the global email and marketing automation program for one brand, setting best practices and supporting local teams.
  • Build, test, and launch campaigns in the email platform, managing creative assets, audience segmentation, scheduling, and QA.
  • Plan automated customer journeys (e.g., welcome, reactivation, post-purchase), adjusting based on performance and business needs.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce, creative, and marketing teams to align on content, timing, and goals.
  • Contribute to channel strategy by analyzing results, identifying opportunities, and suggesting improvements.
  • Run A/B tests and track key performance indicators like open rates, click-through, and conversion.
  • Support broader digital marketing efforts by ensuring email fits smoothly into cross-channel campaigns.
  • Keep campaign calendars organized and ensure deadlines are met without cutting corners.

Requirements

  • A lifecycle marketing expert with 5+ years in email and marketing automation, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or luxury brand context.
  • Experienced with tools like Salesforce, Bloomreach, Adobe, Braze, or Shopify Automations, and comfortable orchestrating multi-step journeys.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented: able to translate numbers into narratives and ideas into action.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Skilled at balancing global strategies with local market needs.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
  • Degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred but not required.

  • Experience in a luxury brand or direct-to-consumer environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing and automation.
