Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a KEY Account structure including strategizing, blueprinting, implementing, and managing growth plans for top customers within the Americas.
  • Develop and execute overall account-specific programs and identify influential customer contacts and departments.
  • Establish and maintain guidelines for rules of engagement from C-level to plant-site locations.
  • Negotiate and deliver Corporate Partnership Agreements including pricing, delivery, and system platforms.
  • Coordinate and deliver annual pricing platforms and structure management of capital projects from inception through installation.
  • Update revenue status regularly, including current revenue, backlog, and opportunities, to ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Seek opportunities to replace competitive products with Nordson products via the Nordson NBS Customer Success model.
  • Align TOP Products with customer processes for standardization across locations and execute white space initiatives.
  • Review, organize, and align existing key account database and collaborate with internal stakeholders on account strategies.
  • Interface with OEM teams on customer projects to ensure alignment and coordination of benefits.
  • Build relationships with technical service managers and vendors to maintain existing business and create added value.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Nordson products, prices, policies, and procedures, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree, 4 additional years of professional work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, product management, or business development.
  • 2-4 years of experience in management or leading a team.
  • Experience in specifying dispensing equipment to solve problems and create value propositions.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as SAP, Cloud for Customers (C4C), or Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills to review markets and estimate sales opportunities.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to leadership and C-level contacts.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated at 50%.

  • Experience in the packaging industry or related markets.
  • Knowledge of new markets, competitor activities, and product changes.
  • Technical aptitude related to dispensing equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years in sales, marketing, or business development roles.
  • Management or team leadership experience preferred.

Benefits & Perks

  • Base salary range of $92,000 - $125,000 annually with a bonus target of 35%.
