Job Description

About the Role

This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of an office [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. The Senior Strategist, Digital will be dedicated to dashboard development, reporting, and analysis for GM. This person will be focused on performance and operational metrics which are core to running the business at the overall Brand and Dealer levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with stakeholders to understand objectives driving the requests/requirements, engaging with various stakeholders to gather and comprehend the objectives behind their requests and requirements.
  • Translating complex data into actionable insights that resonate with the business, including identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Analyzing site data inputs such as mobile vs. desktop usage, CTA engagement, site behaviors including heat mapping and click-stream data, and assessing content engagement to optimize site performance.
  • Working cross-functionally with minimal guidance, collaborating across different teams and functions to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, MIS or similar discipline; graduate degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in analytics.
  • Expertise in SQL for querying and managing databases.
  • Proficiency with Power BI for creating and managing dashboards.
  • Understanding of Adobe Analytics for tracking and analyzing web data.
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent understanding of clickstream data.
  • Curiosity and creativity for researching and exploring new data analysis methods.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks for data processing and analysis.

  • Degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, MIS or similar discipline.
