About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Strategy, in partnership with the Senior Director, Strategy, will support the development, prioritization, and execution of Signet's overall corporate strategy and cultivate business development opportunities to drive profitable growth for the organization. The role involves supporting the Strategy Execution Office, researching market and competitive trends, shaping initiative roadmaps, working cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives, developing presentations, and ensuring alignment between brand strategies and financial objectives. Signet Jewelers is the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry, emphasizing a people-first culture, diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Support and drive the execution of select workstreams within identified projects as part of the Strategy Execution Office that support Signet's current strategic and financial objectives
Coordinate with cross-functional brand and function teams to establish workplans, track progress, and drive accountability
Provide regular project updates to senior leaders and synthesize key learnings / insights
Conduct consumer, competitive, retail, market, and economic research to inform new opportunities and strategic priorities
Build 'Board and Executive ready' project deliverables and recommendations in partnership with operational and functional teams
Support annual and long-range planning processes by working with Strategy directors to develop comprehensive business plans, targets, and priorities
Work with finance to shape financial goals and banner level expectations, providing thought partnership on business-critical topics

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in consulting, business development, finance, corporate strategy/M&A, or investment banking
Experience developing executive-level presentations using PowerPoint
Strong Excel skills with the ability to develop models from scratch and within a short turnaround time
Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and synthesize key insights and business implications
Must be organized and capable of independently managing ambiguity and complex tasks
Must be proactive and adaptable, capable of developing well-informed perspectives with limited information

Nice to Have

Experience with Tableau/data visualization platforms
